Tamron announces 18-250mm f/3.5-6.3 Di-II LD lens
|
Tamron introduces a HOT new lens at Photokina. The 18-250mm f/3.5-6.3 Di-II LD lens covers a very broad range in its zoom and should be a big benefit for most traveling photographers. With a fairly short barrel, this lens should improve the clarity of shots you take without a tripod. This lens is made specifically for digital SLR cameras with APS-C sensors (i.e. Pentax K-100D, *ist DS, DL, DS2, DL2, Nikon D70, D50, and others). You won't be able to use this lens with full-frame sensor cameras or film. If Tamron can get this into stores before the holiday season it will be a hot seller and they'll have a hard time keeping up with the demand. Just imagine a new Nikon D50 buyer getting the body and matching it with this lens. Forget the Nikon lens kit, just grab this one and put it on the camera body, your customers will love you and thank you as they head home with their new toy.
